The exhibition is included in the Official Section of PHotoESPAÑA 2022 and can be visited until October 23
The Minerva room of the Círculo de Bellas Artes will host, until next October 23, the exhibition Focus the Heart to Change the World, as part of the Official Section of PHotoESPAÑA 2022. The exhibition brings together the award-winning and recognized works in the first edition of the Esperanza Pertusa International Photography Contest. An award that wants to recognize the value of the work of so many photography artists who invite us to discover, reflect and feel other realities. An award that is born from the idea that the first act to transform reality is to see it, is to keep looking.
These photographs have been made by artists with a specific theme, to address social problems such as poverty, social exclusion or gender equality. The selected works aim to raise awareness and inspire a positive social transformation, which promotes a call to action and pushes us to make a real change for the benefit of people.
The exhibition includes the works of: Ana Álvarez-Errecalde, Ana Palacios, Ana Valiño, Arturo López, Benedict Bowler, Fernando Iglesias, Javier Fernández, Jesús Aguilar, Nour Eddine and Pedro Londoño.
The exhibition has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the Elche City Council, the Círculo de Bellas Artes and the PHotoESPAÑA festival.
